This is a challenging painting, 'I Will Be Free', and this is one of my poems, about the abuse women suffer. 

Feminism
 
Of course we still need Feminism,
While live on abuse and criticism,
Just look at her picture,
Imagine the torture,
It’s the worldwide hidden terrorism.
 
Women are ripped and torn,
With beatings, insults and scorn,
From those they call lovers,
So it’s kept under covers,
It’s the secret, hidden porn.
 
You may try to hold her hand,
But you’ll never understand,
The trembling fear,
As his footsteps near,
It happens all over the land.
